As recorded on Live at Catalina’s, Vol. 1 and Junk Wagon: The Big Band Album, Most of All is a lush jazz ballad featuring the bass clarinet. The piece is inspired by Jimmy Van Heusen’s Here’s That Rainy Day. It also features a written lyrical trumpet solo. Flutes and clarinets tint and shade throughout, with luscious colorings from the brass. Formal Structure is AABA.
